Where a 2027 date was not yet published in October 2026, we show the 2026 date in brackets. Universities rarely move deadlines by more than a few days from year to year, but check the programme page before you plan around it.
February 2027: the spring intake
- Vilnius Business College: applications 1 July – 1 October 2026.
- LCC International University: general deadline 15 September 2026.
- Klaipėda University: 1 November 2026, studies start 1 February 2027.
- SMK: 1 December 2026 for non-EU applicants.
- Šiauliai State UAS: admission for spring 2027 opened in October 2026.
The spring intake offers fewer programmes, mainly business, IT and tourism. It suits students who finish their degree in India late or who missed the summer deadlines. Ask whether the programme you want actually starts in February.
When to apply from India
Work back from 1 September. The residence permit takes up to two months after you have the university's mediation letter, and you also need time to book a VFS appointment and arrange funds. A safe plan for September 2027:
- October – December 2026: shortlist programmes, take IELTS, start the apostille.
- December 2026 – March 2027: apply; do interviews and tests.
- March – May 2027: accept the offer, pay tuition, receive the mediation letter.
- May – July 2027: residence permit through VFS.
- August 2027: travel.
Students who wait for Class 12 results in May can still apply to universities with June deadlines, but the margin is thin. Read residence permit for the timing of the permit.
