What kind of university LCC is
LCC was founded in 1991 with support from North American partners and still follows the North American liberal-arts model: small classes taught in English, a residential campus, general-education courses in the first years and a strong focus on community life. With students from 57–58 countries, English is the language of the campus, in and out of class.
It suits students who want a close-knit campus, a bachelor's in business, psychology, international relations or English, and who need financial aid to make the fee work. It is not for those who want engineering, IT or medicine: LCC does not teach them.

Financial aid and scholarships
LCC is one of the few universities in Lithuania that gives need-based aid to non-EU students. You declare your family's finances, and LCC offers 10–80% off tuition; total funding from all sources is capped at 90%. About 63% of students receive aid, and the average award is about ₹1.6 lakh (€1,500) a year.
Merit awards are separate: the Penner Scholarship covers 100% of tuition for a top first-year student, and LCC also offers several 70% awards for new students. Apply by the early deadline to be considered for the most aid. More options on our scholarships page.
After LCC
LCC graduates go on to master's degrees across Europe, to NGOs and international organisations, and to business roles. The IINGOL master's prepares for work in international institutions, NGOs and civil society, and the TESOL master's for teaching English. Klaipėda's job market is small, so most graduates who stay in Lithuania move to Vilnius. See after graduation.

Campus
LCC's campus is on the edge of Klaipėda, with residence halls next to the academic buildings, and a short bus ride from the city centre and the Baltic beaches. Life revolves around the campus, which many first-year students find easier than renting alone. Read studying in Klaipėda.
