How they match Indian degrees
- B.A./B.Com/B.Sc. (3 years) and B.Tech/B.E. (4 years): correspond to Lithuanian bachelor's degrees. Some universities treat three-year Indian degrees differently for master's admission: MRU does not accept them, VILNIUS TECH accepts only B.Tech/B.E.
- M.A./M.Sc./M.Tech/MBA: correspond to Lithuanian master's degrees.
- MBBS: corresponds to the six-year integrated master's in medicine.
- Diploma after Class 10: does not give access to a Lithuanian bachelor's; you need Class 12.
Choosing a level
After Class 12, the choice is between a college and a university bachelor's; see bachelor's in Lithuania. After a bachelor's in India, most students come for a master's; see master's in Lithuania. Researchers can apply for funded doctoral places; see PhD in Lithuania. Medicine has its own guide: MBBS in Lithuania.
