Sources we use

  • Tuition and programmes: the national Study in Lithuania catalogue and each university's own admission pages. Where they differ, the university's page wins.
  • Residence permits and work rules: the Migration Department, Lithuanian legislation and university international offices; for changes in the law, also published legal analyses by law firms.
  • Medicine: the National Medical Commission of India for the 2021 regulations and the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences for screening-test results.
  • News and statistics: Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT and official statistics.

Each page lists its sources at the bottom with the date we checked them.

Rupee conversions

Every amount is shown in rupees first, followed by the original currency. We use the European Central Bank's euro reference rate and show the date of that rate on each page. Lakh figures are rounded. Your bank's rate for a transfer will be a little worse, so budget a small margin.

Updates

We review fee, deadline and permit pages before each admission season and whenever the law or a university's rules change. The date at the top of each page shows the last review.

What we do not do

  • We do not publish figures we have not been able to check.
  • We do not rank universities in exchange for payment.
  • We do not invent student stories, reviews or quotes.
