Aviation

Lithuania teaches aviation as engineering. KTU offers Aviation Engineering (bachelor's, ₹4.5 lakh (€4,201) a year) and Aeronautical Engineering (master's). VILNIUS TECH teaches Aviation Mechanics Engineering and an Aerospace Engineering master's at its aviation institute. Pilot training is done at flight schools and is not part of these degrees.

Maritime studies

Klaipėda University teaches Marine Transport Engineering (bachelor's) and Shipping and Port Engineering (master's), with links to the port and shipyards. These lead to shore-based engineering work rather than seafaring certificates.
