MBA, accounting and HR
Three popular subjects do not reach our three-university threshold:
- MBA: VMU's Sports Business MBA, ISM's Global Leadership and Strategy and VILNIUS TECH's Business Leadership are the closest options. A classic general MBA in English is not offered by the institutions on our list.
- Accounting: Vilnius University (Accounting and Audit, bachelor's) and KTU (Accounting and Auditing, master's); VMU teaches Accounting and Finance.
- Human resources: Vilnius University's master's in Human Resources Management.
Universities and colleges
For a research-oriented business or economics degree, look at Vilnius University and ISM, the AACSB-accredited business school. KTU, VMU, MRU and Klaipėda University offer solid programmes at lower fees. The colleges (VIKO, Kauno kolegija, Vilnius Business College, SMK, Klaipėda and Šiauliai State UAS) teach three-year practical degrees with long internships, from ₹2.7 lakh (€2,500) a year.
Entry for Indian students
Commerce, science and humanities Class 12 streams are all accepted for business bachelor's degrees, usually with 60%; Vilnius Business College asks for 70% in English and in one of mathematics, geography, biology or economics. For a master's, a B.Com, BBA or BA is accepted at most universities, but MRU does not accept three-year degrees and VILNIUS TECH takes only B.Tech/B.E. from India. ISM may ask for GMAT for MSc programmes.
Jobs
Business graduates who speak only English find work mainly in Vilnius: international companies' shared-service centres (finance, accounting, customer operations), fintech and logistics. Marketing and HR roles more often require Lithuanian. Others use the degree for a job elsewhere in the EU or back in India. See after graduation.
