What you need
- Class 12 marks, usually 60% overall;
- maths and physics for engineering and IT, biology and chemistry for health;
- English: IELTS, another test or the university's own exam;
- apostilled Class 12 certificate and mark sheet; MRU also asks for Class 10.
Picking a programme straight from school
School leavers choose between a university bachelor's of three to four years and a college professional bachelor's of three to three and a half. If you want a master's later or a research career, go for the university. If you want to work after three years, a college is cheaper and more hands-on.
Gap years
If you finished school a while ago, check the limit: KTU accepts up to three years, Vilnius University up to five. See study gap.
Timeline
Non-EU deadlines for the September intake fall in spring and early summer, so apply as soon as your board results are out and keep scans ready for the apostille. Dates by university: intakes and deadlines.
